Growing up, as a student who was involved in accounts and math, I realized money management was never a concept taught as a part of our education. Even as a student, I never applied the concepts of financial management in real life. I enjoyed learning the concepts. It became important to me when I made the decision of not asking for money at home and manage my expenses within the limit of my salary I earned. It was extremely difficult all of a sudden. Every penny counted. Side hustles did not work. I began exploring in different domains. I started noticing the way people around me spend money. Some are really good at it, some were struggling like me and some did not even know that the concept of money management existed. Talking about finances was not an easy topic of discussion with people. With a lot of self work, I realized that finance became important only when it was the need of the hour, just like other aspects of our life. After years of understanding the reality of how money works, I felt a huge difference than what was just in the books. Hey! I am Roshni K S, who loves the concepts of finance and their applications in real life.
